Say what you want about Cuba — at least their citizens don’t have to ever worry about getting FINANCIALLY WIPED OUT by a serious illness because they have national health care — remember, most Cubans could only DREAM about decent healthcare when Fulgencio Batista ruled their country for seventeen years (1941 – 1958) with a RIGHTWING IRON FIST.
we didn’t have health care then and still don’t..but if u went to the doctor or hospital then u didn’t have to mortgage ur home even in the 70′s it wasn’t too bad but now a visit to the ER means loan to pay the bill unless u r rich

if u people understood what Mike is talking about u’d know he is not saying to get rid of capitalism but to modify it thru regulations to keep the unbridled corporate greed from destroying the economy again..the uncontrolled manipulation of the monetary system, the exportation of industry, corporate subsidies, profit as the sole determination of economic activity and corporate social responsibility..the US under the republicans have moved the US to 19th century corporatism

he doesn’t speak bad of entrepreneurs, he speaks badly of those that seriously abuse their power. there isn’t anything wrong with making money, but ripping of the little guys isn’t how it’s supposed to work. and of course he’s rich, he makes movies!! but at least he uses his money for good, and tries to let people know whats really going on. instead of slamming him for being rich, try actually listening to what he’s saying. like realizing we don’t have a socialistic gov, its a capitalist one!!!!

Also, it isn’t the default swaps and such that got us into this mess. It is the FACT that all banks had significant equity in real estate and the real estate bubble popped.
