Del Boy, Rodney, and Grandad are making some sort of cheap perfume just to earn money after Del has been losing most of his in a series of poker games with Boycie, which Del attributes to a “losing streak”. Grandad shows Del a double-headed coin that he got off a Scottish man during the war, and advises Del to use it against Boycie. Grandad clearly remembers the story behind the coin as if it were only yesterday. According to him, the man said: “I want you to have something to remember me by, Trotter. Take me lucky coin.” Then, he went (as in the Scottish man deserted, not died as Del thought).

Such a brilliant ending lol.
Anyone else think Boycie looks a little like a young Al Pacino?
Best slowroll ever!
They could have at least been a bit more thorough on this. Exposing the bottom of the deck, the guy on the right picks up his card in such a way that the guy on the left can just see them.
Betting money not on the table is just silly. Betting more than the other guy has doesnt mean he has to match the bet.
It would fit an episode of Bottom but not this.
Del could have just declared “all in”, then Boycie couldn’t have forced him to match his bet.
Bottom, brilliant.
But i guess you’ve got to look past the fact that it isn’t quite realistic. I mean look how the episode turned out, it is brilliant right?
I like Boycey though, as the series goes on he grows on you.
@thechosen2010
But the point is Del was playing Boycie.
Good ‘ol Del lol
