does it support i7?
now that would be overkill
its looks cool , but what worry’s me about its once you get a good processor and add lets say cross fire graphics card is the heat inside it.
Can it hold such heat and power? also the power supply its quite weak for hard core user can you replace it with a batter one ?
Good For A Lan Party?
Unfortunately it doesn’t support the Core i7 processor because the Core i7 needs the x58 chipset. This system still has the x48 chipset.
Actually the heat is not to bad inside the system, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to run in Crossfire mode. The power supply can’t be replaced as it’s a proprietary one from Shuttle.
Great for a Lan Party as it’s powerful and not to heavy to carry around.
X48 in that? WTF? Why? You could barley fit 2 cards in there and even if you could the PSU wouldn’t handle 2 big ATi cards anyway! I just don’t see the point at all!
I know it’s a little hard to believe, but people do buy it. And actually with 2 of the HD4670 video cards they fit perfectly and in Crossfire the performance is close to one of the HD4870 cards.
actualy the psu is a high end one rated at 80+ eficiancy i have seen a gtx 285 and 2 thats right 2 4850 in crossfire in that little box with a big quad-core and it didnt pose any problems for the psu
Interesting that it’s supplied with Arctic Silver 5 thermal.
Also John, please get rid of that wobbly stool.
