simply great composition.
you cant find now such works in the whole music . music quality has perished a great since ever .
actually carporates controll music productuon. in order to create a trash society where no sence of culture exists so their products can be sold . they are promoting rubbish kind of music just by force of glamour. reallyy time needs a greater realisation from all of us.
Thanks for your nice comments.
For a great song you need a great music directors. And Shankar Jaikishan were probably the greatest music directors the indian film industry has ever produced. No matter how good the singer, you need great music directors to produce compositions such as this. Look at all the hit Rafi / Shammi Kapoor songs — the common thread is the presence of the one and only music duo of Shankar and Jaikishan. Jaikishan died at the age of 42- one of the saddest moments in Hindi music history.
nnsivaram-I agree 400%.
Wiithout running down the other great composers, I must say that Shankar-Jaikishan are at an entirely different level of greatness from the others.
Over the last 35 years, I have heard their songs 10,000+ times. Yet, far from tiring of them, I get even more enamoured of them with each fresh listening – unlike the other’s compositions, which I begin to tire of after 300-400 times.
Even now, whole new dimensions emerge from SJ’s songs. Is there no limit to their genius?
the best!!! but really painfull…
nice,, and thanks also to you a lot
Rafi Saab Simply superb. Fantastic team Rafi Saab / SJ / Hasrat Jaipuri / Shailendra. SJ’s Majority of super hits sung by Rafi Saab. Their number one choice..
Amazing acting it is just amazing for such an old song it is really goooooooood we should be playing this like every day
I agree, greatest ever.All 4
Someone translate pleasee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you for your kind comment. rafi/mukesh/shankar/jaikishan an unbeatable combination. I think the greatest tragedy in hindi film music was the death of Jaikishan at the age of 42. Cannot imagine how many more immemorable songs we would have had he lived longer!!
the music world would have been so much richer had Jaikishan lived upto a normal age. He died at his peak having just given some of his finest music in his last film ‘andaaz’ and the filmfare award winning song ‘zindagi ek safar hai suhanaa…’
I’m looking forward to being able to play this amazing piece of music on the piano.
Cheers Imani
Thanks a million for sharing this one. I am looking forward to hearing your rendition of this one. I adored your take on Do Lafson Ki and think Chura Liya Hai was even better; Hum Apke Hain Kaun was superb. I think I speak for all who have heard you in action when I say we are all 100% behind team Imani
