Yes, a lot of abusers’ family and friends say what a great person they are. They weren’t getting the hell outta them though……
I hope she gets a better trial on appeal. That guy was a bad man and I find it sickening that his family lays all blame on her. What about him cheating on her. What about all of those bruises. They are totally consistent with being kicked like she said. Arrrrrggh! So frustrating!
It is very obvious that this man was an abusive and controlling man who would have continued to abuse and control the next woman and the next. His ‘property’ he kept isolated from society and so on…typical case.
However, I do believe that the victim of abuse – the ‘murderess’ is guilty. She looks like a typically manipulating, dependent personality who is rather immature and definitely unstable which is probably one of the reasons he took to another woman in the first place.
…and should, unfortunately, definitely be in a secure environment but allowed access and encouragement to help in the upbringing of her child. She is mentally unstable.

she is obviously guilty. being a cheater and possibly having a bad temper on one ocassion does not make you abusive. there is much more evidence pointing to her trying to cover up his murder… which shows she was a jealous and cold blooded murderer.
This makes me sick that she got one day in jail, this wasn’t fair at all. I feel horrible for her, she had to go through abuse at the hand’s of her husband and now be in jail too. I hope she get’s another trial and they get to hear about the abuse from the close friend of her husband and also get to see those pics of the bruises that there is no way she got from moving the body. They were all over her.
Anybody who humiliates his wife like that with the cheating & showing off the mistress is capable of beating and abusing, absolutely!
That idiot juror says just because he was a jerk doesn’t mean he was an abuser. What the hell do you think adultery is but a form of a abuse? What an idiot.
Just because she says he was abusive doesn’t make it true…he isn’t here to defend himself and all she has done is destroy his character to try to get off…I’m glad she got convicted, shame it wasn’t for life.
I understand your point that infidelity is painful and humiliating but it does not give the right to murder. Infidelity is not a form of abuse…it is a breach of commitment. Because someone makes poor choices and acts like a huge jerk-you can’t conclude he was abusive. It was a 2 week trial and 48 Hours left out numerous facts that influenced the jury’s verdict. If you were not present for the trial-you don’t have a clear picture of the case-a one hour show can’t present all of the evidence.
Another abused woman being swept under the carpet. How many abused woman have died? Thousands! Drew died from a string of events….if he wouldn’t have started the affair…the other events could have changed.

stupid juror! “that maybe makes him a jerk but not necessarily an abuser” then what exactly do you call THAT?? handing your wife’s baby to your mistress right in front of her IS abuse &shows how accustomed this bastard was to mistreating her. the fact that Jenny suffered in silence at that moment also shows how accustomed she was to keeping her mouth shut& taking it to keep the peace. this is the mutherfucking problem with the justice system- your life could end up in the hands of total IDIOTS

his very close friend said that drew had told him that yes he had become physicalyl abusive towards jenny. i think its discusting that the court would not let the evidence of her bruises in court thats not a fair trial that is in my eyes evidence of the night in question the defence would of known that and she wouldnt of been convicted!
of course his family will say he was ‘mr wonderful’ he wasnt he was an abuser. he had noregard for his wife what so ever, he beat her he walked all over her, she snapped that night. its a very sad situation especially for the child who has now lost both parents!!

I hope she gets out in ten years. i dont feel sorry for her ex husband. Just for their child.
he’s a woman beater
This was a woman scorned, period!! I guess her lawyer wants to get her a out of jail card with a little community service maybe. Her lawyer asking for probation is laughable. Her 23 years in jail is bargain, as she probably won’t serve more than 15 years She was a psychological mess at the time of the murder.
I don’t buy her abused story, she’s guilty. There was no reason to kill drew.
see she looks good now because shes in jail off the meth – nonetheless if she didnt panic and try to clean the murder sceen, she be free , i do think she was abused and that sonofbitch had it coming after getting a better look at those bruises , and exactly when did she find out about the affair ? before or after the birth
