this movie is amazing…. it shows the love between them with all the phsical stuff which is amazing coz not alot of movies noe how to do this…. it was very well produced

you right it was a sing of love and closeness,i was a little bit scary my self,i thougt stepmother poisonousthe food when no one was looking and she wanted to make joddha look like she try to poisonous him,when she said joddha must eat first, even he was scary and every body else,
evey one was smiling because she made a joke when he was about to eat ,she yell stop and everybody was scary,like the food was poisonous for real, and he said why ,then she said, it doesn’t have enough salt.that why everybody was smiling about.

because she’s being made to publically eat the food before her husband eats it.
I think it’s more the sentiment that to even think of the possibility of her poisoning her husband is kinda rude.
I mean she made the whole meal for the husband, and then she had to taste everything in front of everyone to prove it wasn’t poisoned.

Agreed. But I also think…It was Anga´s way to imply Jodhaa might want to poison Akbar….That was low of her!
Just in case you missed it, when Jodhaa meets Akbar’s mother for the first time, she introduced her to Maham Anga. Maham is Akbar’s second mother. When Akbar was a kid, his mother was absent for a long time so Maham took care of him. Now, Maham is one of Akbar’s head advisors. So she is a respected member of his household and his gov’t.
I love that look she gives Maham Anga after she says the food doesn’t have enough salt. It’s subtle but she proves her point perfectly ^^
