technically india and pakistan are different countries but both have a comman history . They were one country before 1947 , now they r two different countries
u r right, but put it this way, if there was no partition there would have been no difference between u and me. we would have been refered to as indians or hindustanis, not pakistani and indian. partition has just made a rivary between the 2 countries. india’s primeminister, M.singh was born in pakistan (british india)

it is a shame in the 50s&60s we in Greece and Hindi films & once Junta came it was forbidden even thu we hv the similar culture&traditions but Junta wanted us Westernized&cld see we loved it.Now I ask the Greeks here abt srk & they hv no idea the only ones are those who travel like me in UK,australia&USA where we hv continued to watch them.I am going to write to STAR which is Greek channel hoping to convince them as my people luv Hindi films with the music&dancing

Quite sad, very strereotyped interview, ppl outside India treat our movies as if we are aliens from other planet. Our movies arent all about music and dance only, ppl should watch movies like A Wednesday, actors like Naseruddin Shah, Irfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon do classy work.

@TheShwetzy oh ok i was just wonderin im actually pakistani by the way but i think hes a good actor but some of the things he does in his movies had put me in doubt as to whether he was muslim or hindu you see hence why i asked
@abeershahid its fine . i can understand it. bollywood film industry is like that only. but in india we have rich Muslim culture in singing, dancing and especially in foods. bollywood is survivng on ‘urdu language’ along with ‘four KHANs’ and Sufi Music. it is most entetaining for us. so thank you all you guys (though you are in pakistan)

@TheShwetzy actually i dont live in Pak but thanks pakistan does have a similar culture in that sense although probably not so much in the music as India. nice to see someone with such pride in their country without being arrogant
